The Roof…

Dad and I worked for over 50 hours last week on the house. Our main project has been getting the roof mostly decked off.

I’m running late to get out to the house this morning, but I thought I would spend a quick second to post a picture of the deck that I built yesterday…

On a side note, thats taken from the camera on my new Blackberry Curve… I’m pretty impressed!

Over the weekend Dad, Brother and I spent some time getting the room about the garage on the house all framed up. Thought I would throw up a few pictures real quick.

Topped off!

I wanted to give a brief update on the house. We have topped off the truss work on the roof and begun to put up interior walls. This weekend we will begin (and hopefully finish) decking the roof. Here are a few pictures…

As promised here are a few shots of the roof arriving at the new house. The most amazing part of this is how they got all the trusses off the back of the truck. There was no lift, or crane… The truck driver simply drove forward then slammed on the breaks sending [...]
