It’s a little after 5am here in good old Tulsa, Oklahoma and I need to go finish packing. I have nearly managed to get a weeks worth of clothes into my carry on (I believe checking a bag for trips less then a week is a sign of weakness). Needless to say I’m pretty excited about my trip to the sin-city of Canada, for church convention nonetheless. Looks right now that this will be my last big trip of the summer. I am really looking forward to seeing a few close friends I have not seen in several years, one in particular.

On the home front things have been super busy. Work on the house continues, the roof is finished, plumbers start work this week while we are gone, and we are 57 days away from completion and move in! The job search continues and I am focusing more and more on finding something in the non-profit world. I just don’t think I would have the motivation to achieve my full potential working for ‘the man,’ especially at this time in my life. More on that later.

The dreaded two words “Law School,” have kept popping up in the last several weeks too.
