Dad and I worked for over 50 hours last week on the house. Our main project has been getting the roof mostly decked off.
The hardest part of this project was getting the few hundred 4×8 sheets of stran-board on the roof. Basically we just shoved them from the ground to the top of some scaffolding and then pulled them up on the roof. Talk about back breaking work.
We still have the roof above the garage to deck and that project will begin on Monday. Also on Monday, stucco will begin on the outside of the house, plumbers will start looking things over, and shingles will begin to arrive.
